Streams Now Start at 7PM!
Heroes,
I wanted to drop a line to let y'all know that, starting with tonight's Final Fantasy XIV stream, I will now start at 7PM CDT!
With baseball season now in the rear view, and my kids requiring less bedtime attention, I can start at a normal hour (with a quick break to say good night, of course!). My oldest will still have a sport this summer, but it's just one practice a week, so I can easily move things around.
Bless. Up!
Oh, and you'll want to make sure you are there at stream start as I received a $100 donation for a cocktail randomizer. We will see what the dice provide this time around!
Assassin's Creed Update
Good Lord, was Assassin's Creed III bloody. 1450 (!!!) kills and 57 desyncs made this game my most expensive donation bit ever at $430!
I'm going to move on to Assassin's Creed: Rogue, a game that I've never played in the series. The goal is to have that game done before Black Flag: Resynced comes out.
The only thing that I know about the game is that it will follow an Assassin that turns Templar, explaining the break of Assassin lineage in Desmond's bloodline. Also, we will see how many times I spell "rouge" instead of "rogue" and I'm not looking forward to it.
Stream Business
I need to do much, much better in promoting affiliate things. Like every other bit of revenue, I will donate everything to Extra Life. I'm going to stay on the lookout for things I like that I think you would too.
To put it another way, if it sucks, you can blame me for the bad taste. I still like it.
I'm going to get in the habit of starting streams with the pitches too. I can't leave money on the table for the kids!
Dubby
You've seen me consume Dubby regularly on stream now. It's a powdered energy drink mix, but one that thankfully isn't overly sweet like one that I've tried in the past. Not only that at $40 a tub for 30 servings, you're getting a drink for just over $1 and good luck finding that find of a deal on any energy drink.
If main-lining caffeine isn't your thing, Dubby also makes hydration productions as well. These are cheaper at $35 a tub for 30 servings, which, again, good luck getting that deal for any sports drink or hydration product.
I'm using both of these regularly, especially the hydration tubs. They were an absolute life-saver as I built up my endurance for my runs.
This week, you get a 20% off instead of the usual 10% when you use the code GAMIN4AVEN at checkout. So go stock up and feel great about helping kids while your at it!
Genki
Y'all, these products flat rule and I have lost count of how many I've bought.
Genki made their way to the market with a compact travel dock for the Nintendo Switch and have expanded their products to a wide range of GaN charging, Steam Deck storage expansion (with power pass through!), controllers & grips, a Switch kickstand that doesn't suck, and even Switch Bluetooth wireless adapters.
I travel with these things constantly, but they've also created an incredible power strip for home usage that has three AC ports (with space for the huge bricks every company seems to use now) and four USB-C ports: the Moonbase.
I can't say enough great things about Genki and I feel like I held out on y'all by not singing their praises sooner.
See y'all tonight!
