Stream Rescheduled for Tonight, Surprise 5K!

Hello, heroes! It's been a couple weeks.

I'm writing this way too early in the morning thanks waking up for a 5AM work meeting. That same meeting, which got scheduled rather last minute, led me to punting the usual Tuesday stream last night.

So I'll be on tonight at 9 PM CDT instead with the Final Fantasy XIV stream. Thursday will likely happen as schedule and might even be earlier at 9 PM CDT if my oldest's batting practice ends up cancelled due to spring break. Make sure to check my socials for updates.

Vegas 5K Next Week

Starting on Sunday (March 22), I'll have a streaming break until the following Sunday (March 29) as I travel out to Las Vegas for a massive trade show for the day job.

One of the things that happens during this show, that I never participate in is the 5K. Well, that changes this year.

Part of it is my desire to get an official 5K under my belt, thanks to a weather postponement, before the 10K, even though I did run an unofficial 5K as a part of my training plan this past Sunday:

But the main part is that my training plan calls for a 2.5 mile run anyways next Thursday, so what's another 0.6 miles (besides pain)?

I still plan on the rescheduled 5K back at home, pushed back to April 19, which is now the week after my 10K on April 12. But that'll be more of a victory lap on this thing (I hope).

Much like my running adventures, this isn't a quick sprint. I'm still aiming to break $10,000 this year, and it's very early.
