For Those (Streams) That Come After (Game Day)

I may have failed my expedition to complete the main story of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 within 24 hours, but y'all came through to make the Game Day stream a massive success with just under $1,400 raised. When the Twitch revenue, Death Tax, and Crowd Control revenue finalizes, that number will easily be over $1,500.

But, I'm not done. As punishment for failing to beat the game, I must continue and, not just complete the main story, but take out the two super bosses as well before the year ends. Should I fail that, I must shave my head.

Schedule

This is the dicey one with the holidays, work travel, and other family commitments.

As of now, I'm eyeing Sunday, December 21 at 12 PM CST to finish out the main story. From there, I plan to have a stream Tuesday at 9 PM CST to start the grind/prep for the super bosses.

After Christmas, I've taken the rest of the year off of work. I will plan additional streams then, but I need to figure out what my post-Christmas & New Year's plans look like.

Incentives, Rules, and Milestones

I will keep all the Game Day milestones live. Face painting might be tricky, but I will make sure to cash it in at a stream start to get maximum time out of it. Reminder of the incentives (next one is at $2,033 raised).

The $5 or more party swaps, plus Crowd Control are in play until I beat the main story. Hilariously, when I tapped out, I got a donation that now makes my party full:

I'll return to business with Maelle, Verso, and Monoco--assuming I don't see any other donations. I will do as many dice rolls as needed before the next stream, so don't be afraid to fire away!

The love interest poll is also still live until I make it through the Monolith. As of now, Lune has the lead by 13 votes. You can tally a vote for every $1 donated--just put "Lune" or "Sciel" in the donation comments.

When the credits roll, I will regain control of my party selection and turn Crowd Control off. I'm going to enter a part of the game where no additional help will be needed for my failure (plus, I've never fought either super boss). All non-Crowd Control milestones will remain open, plus my death tax (and swear jar penalties for not cussing in French).

It's going to be a crazy end to the year, but I'm looking forward to closing strong!
