The Countdown to Game Day Begins!

In the midst of all the sports actually going my way this past weekend, flying directly in the face of the pain I wrote about last week, I did my level best to come up with a gaming topic to write about this week.

And then I looked at the calendar and realized “oh crap, the Game Day marathon is three weekends away.”

So, instead of random gaming topics, I’m going to start the hype train for an event that I still need to finish planning (classic me). Here’s what you need to know:

• Stream will start either on Friday, November 3 or Saturday, November 4 depending, hilariously, on sports schedules.
• I will stream for 24 hours (25 if we hit a donation incentive).
• At least two of those hours will be spent in Final Fantasy XIV participating in my friends Extra Life event, as has been recent tradition (Saturday at either 3 or 4 PM).
• There will be a Game Day raffle with multiple prizes.
• There will be a Crowd Control segment.
• I am planning a Minecraft segment with my kiddos, who will be extremely excited to participate.

While my campaign doesn’t end until the calendar flips to 2024, this is my biggest fundraising event of the year. If you haven’t donated yet, now is the time to make some plans to do so!

Fundraising Update

Thanks to some excited donations after Notre Dame trounced Southern Cal on Saturday night, my total for the year is at $9.939.20—just $60.80 short of $10,000!!!

Oh, and I’m only $132.73 short of my next Triforce shot.

We can absolutely hit both before Game Day. Hell, I challenge y’all to hit it before the end of my Thursday stream. If that happens, I’ll spin a horrible shot wheel at $10K and change the Absinthe float in the Courage shot to a full measure.

Weekly Schedule

It’s a bye week for ND, so there’s no ND Sim. This is probably a good thing because the donations that hit this weekend will force me to find a Shrine and 11 Koroks before I proceed further in Tears of the Kingdom.
