And I want to dig another trench with so many tight 90-degree turns any time soon.

As with most projects, this took far longer than I wanted it to. The good news is that it's done. Not only that, I managed to hop on briefly with the Sunday Minecraft Hardcore SMP crew to give everything a test run which helped me iron out a couple more things.

That means I'm back to the normal Thursday/Sunday schedule starting this Thursday, September 25.

New Features

As I said in my last newsletter, I wanted to take some time to remove some setup bloat, add features I've wanted for a while, and troubleshoot some things. Here's what's new:

  • Twitch streams are now available in 2K (1440p) resolution.
  • Donation progress bar enlarged and easier to read.
  • Top overlay bar now rotates through different information
  • Donation ticker, featuring all this year's donations now at the bottom of streams (I still need to test if it updates properly with a donation on a live stream...)
  • Better integration with Bluesky updates. Donation posts will now feature the amount left towards my next Malort experiment.

Minecraft Hardcore SMP Season Finale

On Sunday, November 9, the day I get back from Extra Life: Unlocked in Utah, the SMP crew will have our season finale in an extended stream where we will (attempt to) kill the Ender Dragon.

New donation incentives are on tap. The chaos will be ramped up. I'm sure I will die a lot.

Oh, and we will be back next year!

October Crowd Control Stream

Mark your calendars for October 18. I will go live after the Irish put a beat down on Southern Cal (please!).

A Head's Up for November

The week following the Minecraft Season Finale, I'm going to have surgery on my deviated septum so I can actually breathe through my nose properly. Surgery is on Thursday, November 13. My best guess is that I can get back to streaming the following week, but we shall see!

Mark Your Calendars for the Marathon Stream

I'm eyeing Saturday, December 13 after the Army/Navy game. Best guess for an exact start time: 6 PM CST.

I'll have an announcement for what I'm playing in a later newsletter, but, as a reward for making it this far down the newsletter, I'll give you a hint:
