Streaming This Weekend!
Plus, how to unlock the Notre Dame Bowl Sim...and an #HLSRecap
This week, my house projects receive their finishing touches, major work projects close, and Mrs. Tex heads out of town to Chicago on Saturday.
And when Mrs. Tex is away, Tex logs on to Twitch to play!
Starting Saturday night around 9 PM CST (“around” doing a lot of work here as y’all should know by now), I’ll get back to playing Final Fantasy III. The plan, as of now, is to stream Sunday and Monday night as well. I will also announce the raffle winners on the Saturday stream.
Thanks to the great success of my Game Day marathon, the job changes will happen every $15 minutes until I’m done. However, don’t think that means I’m out of incentives for the year!
At $15,000 raised for the year ($2,155.22 away as of writing), a Crowd Control stream, with a twist unlocks. The twist: every death caused will equal a strip of chest wax. The game: Breath of the Wild (picking up from whenever I…uh…”feel asleep” last year).
The “bonus hour” from Game Day is still on the table, aka the Notre Dame Bowl Sim against South Carolina. The goal is the same: I reach $70,000 raised all time (as of this writing, I’m $2,489.59 away).
I’m also adding a stretch goal. Currently, I trail the Amber and her wonderful crew at Game HQ by $3,448.22. I haven’t lost to her in years. If the streak continues, I will bring the #HLSRecap back from the dead for the Bowl Game. Sure, all the useful tools to do it are gone and Elon’s Twitter is now a dumpster fire, but it’s all for your entertainment!
Let’s close the year out strong!
Twitch Highlights
I haven’t had time to cut up the massive amounts of highlights and jump scares from the marathon, but I do have Twitch’s annual stats to share. Thank you all for making my streaming efforts such a success this year (and let’s see if we can’t get that subscription number to be concurrent so I can make a monthly donation that will be matched!).

Podcast News
I have a feeling this might be making a return after Christmas. Currently, I need to edit some audio (aka bleep a lot of things out) from my Game Day interviews and then I will finally get some fresh guests on the pod!
