I’m Going Back to Italy

Well, virtually at least.

While vacationing with Mrs. Tex the past couple of weeks, I took great personal joy in seeing cities, buildings, and monuments that I’d only experienced through Assassin’s Creed II & Assassin’s Creed II: Brotherhood. For me, those two are still some of my favorite games. Ezio Auditore’s story remains a banger.

Needless to say, I want to revisit the games after being at the locations in person. I can think of no better way to do so than to share the experience with y’all and to raise some money while doing so! So be sure to come join me on Thursdays starting at 9PM Central.

Nothing Is Real. Donations Are Permitted.

I never come into a game without some kind of donation driven gimmick. For this one, I’m going to make a donation based on the kill count I rack up with Ezio.

I’m expecting the body count to be rather high. Therefore, I’m pledging a dime per kill so I don’t go broke. I would love for you to join me and pledge a penny per kill! I’ll keep the count updated in the newsletter for those not able to join in the stream and let y’all judge were that pledge should be!

Of course I will toss in a death tax for my own failures: $1 for everytime Ezio bites the dust/unsyncs.

Monthly Crowd Control

Crowd Control with Valheim was a blast and a half. I gotta get back to it.

To make sure I don’t drive it into the ground, and to make sure y’all know when to save up to make my life hell. With that in mind, the first Saturday of the month is when we’ll roll. As far as the time, this month will probably be easy to call 9 PM Central, but when football season hits, it’ll likely be whenever the primetime game(s) end.

The Sim Is (Likely) Dead. Long Live the Sim.

Time to bring the room down to end this newsletter: I don’t think I’ll be doing the Notre Dame sims this year.

They are still fun to do, but it cuts into another stream I could do (or adds another, which I really don’t have time for). Viewership is down–probably because people are actually playing the game now and therefore donations are down.

If I see a surge of feedback urging otherwise, I might reconsider, but I gotta be honest in saying I just don’t see it.
