If you received this post in your inbox this morning, it’s because you have already donated to my Extra Life campaign at some point over the years. As there are now over 200 of you, I’ve outgrown the native email tools on my Extra Life page! I can’t thank you enough for being a hero and helping me #ChangeKidsHealth.

This space will serve as the new way to update not just donors, but anyone interested in staying updated about my efforts. You too can be a hero by just subscribing here for free (and it will always remain free), sharing, and watching my streams!

After I get back from MiracleCon (more on that in a bit), I will also launch a new podcast, Extra Voices, which will highlight Extra Lifers and the hard working staff from Children’s Miracle Network who support the Extra Life program. The show will also feature episodes requested by donors. $100 let’s you request and/or guest a specific episode (I have two NCAA ‘14 Notre Dame sims requested for instance), and $5 gives you a question to add to a mailbag.

This weekend, I will head out Oklahoma City for MiracleCon, an Extra Life event supporting the Children’s Health Foundation of OKC. If you are in the area, come grab a ticket and enjoy a day full of games, panels, and prizes. If you aren’t in the area (and most of you aren’t), you can still help support CHF OKC by donating for free!

Here’s how it works. Thanks to a site called Matcherino, you can help boost the prize pools for the tournaments being held at MiracleCon. While you can contribute directly giving a 50/50 split to the prize pool and CHF donation, you can also participate in sponsor actions (called “quests”) such as following Twitter and Twitch accounts, tossing money in the 50/50 pool at no cost to you.

I have signed up to be a sponsor, so you can do things like follow me on Twitch or YouTube and contribute for free. You can also subscribe to me on Twitch through the sponsor quest and I’ll match the one month sub free in the 50/50 pool (remember all revenue is donated to Extra Life and matched by my company, you are basically TRIPLING a donation). I am personally participating in two events during MiracleCon that you will be able to experience remotely. After it’s debut at MiracleCon, I will have an interview with Alx Preston on my YouTube channel. This interview will also be on the podcast at a later date. I am also participating in a panel, Gaming for Good, which will detail how to get set up and run a successful Extra Life campaign, no matter your following or your preferred method of “gaming”. This too, will be on the podcast at a later date.

Loads of work has gone in to this event, as well as this new content launch on my end.
