#GameDay2023 Recap
Spoiler Alert: Great Success!
My favorite post-Extra Life Game Day activity, even behind the much needed deep, hard-reboot sleep, is seeing just how much Extra Lifers raised combined. While I’m always proud of the impact that I have on the Children’s Health Foundation of Oklahoma City, I’m even more honored to be a part of an $8.5 MILLION effort!
Over the weekend, I raised over $2,500 and another $100 hit on Monday. In total, I have now raised $14,456.36 for the Blake Shelton Cancer Research Fund at CHFOKC on the year. 2023 is shaping up to be one of my best campaign years yet and I cannot thank y’all enough for not just the donations, but spreading the word.
I haven’t run the numbers, but I’m almost positive I’ve had more unique donors than ever this year (and absolutely did on Game Day).
With Game Day now behind me, I’m looking forward to a rather busy schedule this week…
Just kidding, I’m gassed.
The normal schedule & cadence will return next week, kicking off with a newsletter giving a brief review of the games I played this past weekend. Also, I know I owe a podcast this month, but securing a guest has been a bit of a scheduling headache thanks to Game Day.
