#GameDay2023 Incentives

Once again, I shall not bury the lede:

The first question you might ask is “where’s the booze?!” Well, quite frankly, y’all have proven over the past few years that putting dollar values on booze can backfire.

I’ll have moments throughout the stream in which we’ll have donation sprints for horrible shots. This will let me space things out safely.

So the Fiery Five Challenge from Jelly Belly will serve as the constant driver instead. Much safer for my liver, will still be hilarious, and I can probably use one here and there in a drink too!

Dixper & Crowd Control

You will notice on my schedule that I have games marked as “with Crowd Control”. This is a fun plugin that always drives in tons of money, however, you have to typically have great timing, be watching the stream, and have some understanding of what’s going on.

The Marathon At some point this year, I really wanted to do a Crowd Control marathon of Getting Over It. The twist is that every donation would extend just how long I have to play the damn thing.

Gamin' 4 Aven - An Extra Life CampaignRyan Ritter (Gamin’ 4 Aven)

Enter Dixper. This plugs in directly to my Extra Life page, lowering the barrier for entry. Effects range from goofy to game-wrecking. Timing is much harder on these so I’m looking for effects that will remain fairly consistent throughout.

Here’s the general plan:

• $1 - A friendly, on-screen effect that doesn’t adversely affect me
• $2.50 - Jump Scare
• $5 - Turn my keyboard into a guitar
• $10 - Voice Modification
• $20 - Screen blocker
• $25 - Mess with my controls

I will modify these based on the game played. I may adjust price as well. For instance, during Doki Doki Literature Club I know things are gonna get messed up, so there is a special “This is too Scary” screen blocker that I’ll reduce down to $5.

Hot Ones Challenge

I’ve done it before, but never during a marathon like this. I have the Season 18 pack if you’re curious. Also, I don’t do one bite and I’m done. I’ll eat the whole nugget/wing/whatever I put the sauce on.

It will hurt. Hilarity will ensue…especially if $100 rolls in during this and I have to have another spicy jelly bean.

Hair Dye

I couldn’t land on a color to do this and I’ve already done the Guy Fieri bit. I’ll let you, my wonderful donors decide. Since a lot of donation incentives don’t let you make a comment, just fill out this simple Google Form for your vote.

Every dollar that you donate from now until the end of Game Day will count as an extra vote.

We have to hit the $20,000 annual goal during the marathon to unlock this. As I write this, I’m about $8,200 away.

Extra Life Tattoo

A good fundraiser should have a stretch goal ready to go. This year, I have something loaded that I’ve never done in my life: a tattoo.

Again, we must hit this on Game Day to unlock. It’ll be no small task. This stretch is an additional $10,000 away once the $20,000 goal is reached.

To unlock this, you’ll have to get lots of people involved and donating. Spread the word!
