On Saturday, I fired up a stream to see if my GPU troubles were behind me. Thankfully, my new GPU, plus a couple tweaks got everything back to not crashing/lagging/blowing things up.

With that major piece in place, I still have more on my list to take care of for this year’s streams. In some conversations with a few other Extra Lifers, I’ve mentioned some of the things I’ve worked on. There’s definitely a lot of interest in what I’ve done and it’s really not overly complicated.

I figure, since most of what I do will need to be tested on a stream, why not stream the work and document it for others.

Granted, I know this won’t appeal to a wide audience, but perhaps it will help out some other Extra Lifers and perhaps give folks thinking about streaming for Extra Life the confidence and tools to do so.

My plan this year is to stream on Tuesday and Thursdays at 9PM CST (unless one of my boys has a late baseball practice again this year…here’s hoping not). Sunday streams will resume when we restart our Minecraft SMP—which will be soon. On occasion, I’ll might have a special Friday or Saturday evening stream, we shall see.

Anyways, come hang out this Tuesday & Thursday and see what goes into making a stream. The gaming will fire back up soon!
