A Tale of JNCOs & Spite
A special episode of Extra Voices featuring 100% less Extra Life, but 100% more charity.

Today, on a very special episode of Extra Voices, I feature a guest that has nothing to do with Extra Life. Ryan Nanni, of the Shutdown Fullcast and Every Day Should Be Saturday (RIP), joins me to talk about their annual Charity Bowl benefitting New American Pathways.
The expertly crafted image above (for those of you reading the show notes on Podcast mediums, click here) features one of Ryan’s cohosts and founders of EDSBS, Spencer Hall. Why is he wearing 50-inch JUNCOs? It’s a charity incentive unlike any other…all because Spencer refuses to shoot a basketball.
I wanted Ryan on the show how their crew has grown a wonderous community of college football nuts and channeled our innate spite into good humored fun for a great cause. Yep, that’s the tie-in every Extra Lifer is familiar with: a grassroots communal effort to raise money mixed with silliness and fun that each of our individual communities love.
Did I make this non-Extra Lifer play D20 questions despite learning what Extra Life was pretty much right before the show? Yes. Did it matter? Probably not.
Oh, and I get to detail how I completely derailed a game of Simon Says during Extra Life United.
This might all make sense when you listen. It might not too. That’s par for the Fullcast course.
