$75,000 Raised All Time

I couldn’t of asked for a better start to my The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom streams by going over $75,000 raised all time.

Playing the game was pretty fun too.

It honestly blows me away that playing games and doing some silly stunts, most of them to the dismay of my liver, led to this. This is such a massive impact for cancer research at the Children’s Health Foundation and care of the children of Oklahoma.

You may have heard me say it on streams in the past, but children from across the entire state of Oklahoma typically find their way to OU Children’s, which the CHF runs, as it is the only free-standing children’s hospital in the entire state. That’s a heck of a lot of ground to cover and a lot of kids to care for.

I can’t thank y’all enough for your continued support. There’s a reason I call y’all heroes regularly.

Fill the Triforce, Fill My Glass

I’m still in the very early stages of TotK, meaning that I don’t have all the donation incentives set; however, my major milestone incentives are ready to roll.

Do you see that mostly un-filled Triforce in the top-right corner of my overlay? Well, every time a piece of the Triforce is filled, I have to take a shot representing that piece. Further, I will have a countdown directly below the Triforce to let everyone know in real-time how close we are to the next shot.

For those of y’all that were around for my last runs through the Zelda franchise, know these shots well (if you don’t, recipes are at the bottom of the post). These shots were inspired by drinks that I found on The Drunken Moogle, and put my own spin on them.

The Triforce shots will happen at $2000 (Wisdom), $3000 (Power), and $4000 (Courage) raised during my TotK playthrough. Once the Triforce is filled, additional donations will turn the Triforce gold from top to bottom. Once it is completely gold at $5,000 raised, all three shots are combined for form The Ultimate Power aka Golden Triforce “Shot”, which, to my great surprise, actually looks golden and not a horrible shade of brown!

So get those donations in, and let’s have some fun at my liver’s expense!
