$3,500 Raised in Season One, Stream Tonight, and a World Record!
Tattoo somewhat unrelated, but since Unlocked is mentioned, here we go!

Sunday’s Minecraft Hardcore SMP season finale was a massive success. We had to fight the Ender Dragon five separate times, but that pushed us to over $3,500 raised across the group!

We cannot thank you enough for your support. Plans are already in the works for season two. We’ve learned a lot this past year, had tons of fun, and can’t wait to do it again.

Also, I need to brag because I got the kill shot on the first Ender Dragon fight. Plus, it was the only ranged kill. PLUS, it was the first time I’ve ever killed the thing outside of creative mode with my kids.

I still can't believe I got the first kill shot of our Ender Dragon fights (and the only ranged kill) in yesterday's #ExtraLife stream. Man with the most deaths became a pro gamer.

Stream Tonight

I will stream tonight (Tuseday, November 11) instead of the usual Thursday slot. On Thursday morning, I will undergo surgery to get my deviated septum fixed. I’m very excited to breath through both nostrils properly, but not so much looking forward to the recovery.

I have no idea what the schedule will look like going into Thanksgiving. I’ll let y’all know in this space when I’m ready to get back into the swing of things, even if it’s cam off for a stream or two.

Achievement Unlocked: Set a World Record

Thanks to your donations this past Saturday, we broke a world record at Extra Life Unlocked.

The final count of toy dollars, taped end to end, each representing a donation, came to a grand total of 1,072.

1,072 total pieces of money is the official count. That means there were at least that many donations and I’m sure there were more not counted because the wall was PACKED today. People are still putting bills up because WHY NOT

Now, I have a good feeling that we actually had more donations than that. Due to the time constraints, there was such a mad dash to get money up and the folks in charge cut the count at 1,072 to make sure the Guinness World Record monitor (yes, he was there the WHOLE TIME) approved of the placement of every single bill he counted.

So I went up after the mad rush and ran up the score, counted or not. That’s how much of an impact that you and other’s make in supporting Extra Life—you literally make donations too hard to count!

And it’s no surprise. Want to guess how much was raised even before we started the Extra Life Unlocked shenanigans?

That’s an absolutely massive impact—whether it’s supporting cancer research, or creating the funds for kids to partake in adaptive music therapy. Every dollar funds something truly special and unlike anything in this mess of a healthcare system.

I can’t thank y’all enough for your support and hope you help me end the year strong.

Don’t forget, my own 24 hour marathon Game Day starts Saturday, December 13th. It would probably be more fitting to have this game on a different day, but the calendar doesn’t quite go to 33…
